The Use of AIR (Audiotory,Intellectually,Repetation) Method in Improving Students Listening Skills in Procedure text
This study used 1 cycle and used a quantitative approach, using a questionnaire to assess students' perceptions of the effectiveness of the AIR method. The first results revealed that repetition strengthened memory retention and comprehension, while the intellectual component encouraged critical thinking through analysis and connections to prior knowledge. Although most respondents acknowledged the benefits of this method, some experienced challenges in its steps, as reflected in the decrease in post-test scores for certain students. These results underscore the importance of providing intensive guidance to optimize the implementation of the AIR method. This study concludes that the AIR method has significant potential to improve listening skills if paired with adequate support for students who are struggling.
